TORNADO HITS MIDLAND ONTARIO - June 23, 2010 · Jun 24, 04:39 am
Stu and Carol, their Gallery and cat, Ollie were left untouched by Midland’s first tornado landing.
We are so thankful for our safety and hydro. We were actually out of town and didn’t return to Midland until 10pm tonight. Not until we arrived on the outer boundaries of Midland, did we notice something was wrong … a swarth of emergency vehicles, road blocks … everything was dark … then we noticed all the new cast vehicles so turned on the radio to hear that a tornado landed in town … I was so happy to see our house was fine and started contacting family and friends to make sure others were okay too … amazing how quickly news travels on the internet …

And only earlier this same day, did we also experience Midland’s first large earthquake that rocked the land from montreal to here. What a crazy day!
I am so grateful we are okay. I will post some photos tomorrow.
