CLAUSTRO Studios & Gallery transformed into a yoga studio while filming a new Rogers TV program, Yoga with Cindy. Rogers TV Associate Producer, Daisy Ranger, arrived at CLAUSTRO this weekend to tape Episodes 8 and 9 with Local Yoga Instructor, Cindy Thomas.
There will be a total of 10 one hour Yoga Epsiodes airing in September, 2012, on Channel 53. CLAUSTRO was one of 6 locations chosen to film the Program. The artworks of Artist, Jill Price, set a beautiful backdrop for the Yoga Instruction. Other set locations for the Yoga Instruction was Cindy’s own Yoga Studio in Lafontaine, White Pines Golf & Fishing, Celtic Roots Equestrian, and on one of our beautiful local beaches at Thunder Bay Beach. All inspiring locations!
Cindy Thomas was accompanied by yoga students, Ingrid (local physiotherapist) and Genna (yes, Claustro’s Gallery Attendant). The soothing instrumental music by local musician, Marlon Gibbons was used for part of today’s episodes.
Yoga Instructor, Cindy, started her Yoga Kripalu Practice in the 1980’s. You can read more about this gentle, hatha style yoga at this website. Cindy is a very knowledgeable and gentle Instructor who teaches at the local Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre, the staff at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care in Penetanguishene, and privately out of her home studio in Lafontaine.
