What better way to commemorate a special day, then to view a beautiful original painting, and remember all those who contributed to your special day.

We have opened a GIFT REGISTRY PROGRAM for people who would like to purchase a painting as a group gift for a special occasion such as a Birthday, Wedding, Anniversary, or Retirement.

Like any Gift Registry, the Individual registers with us, where Party Guests simply provide us with their financial contribution. All monies are pooled together to provide a Gift Certificate for a painting of the individual’s choice.

In the past, some parties have chosen an available painting to post as the artwork that monies will be going towards. This was the case in the Dow-Stembridge Wedding Registry posted in a prior blog. They had enough contributions to purchase the painting of their choice … a very meaningful painting to them entitled Driftwood. They installed their painting prominently in their dining room and are reminded daily of their beautiful wedding day and all those who contributed to their painting.

COME ONE COME ALL!!! OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Join us, and over 15 other artists in an ART GALA EXTRAVAGANZA, FRIDAY OCTOBER 8th, 5-8pm!!!

Liz has supported so many artists over the years she has lived here that we felt it was fitting to dress the Clubhouse with all the artists works that she has loved, and to kick off the celebration, we wanted to show ALL these works (over 50 paintings) here at the gallery. Most works will be for sale.

Featuring the Gift Registry Wall showing the artworks that all you friends and family have contributed to, by Carol Currie.

Welcome to the Liz Dow and Mark Stembridge Wedding Gift Registry with Claustro (paintings and sculpted paintings by Carol Currie and Stuart Leggett).

Liz and Mark’s wedding date is confirmed for 10-10-10 (that’s October 10, 2010) and will be held on the beautiful beaches of Georgian Bay.

Liz and Mark, both being strong advocates of the arts, chose to have their Gift Registry with us. They have already collected a few of Carol’s paintings. As it gets closer to their wedding, they will choose one of Carol’s paintings that are available, or will have one specially created to commemorate their union.

This Driftwood piece and the Boulder Diptych Painting are just a couple examples of the style of work Mark and Liz like. To register with us and make a gift payment towards this painting, please contact Carol at 705-527-4632, or email at claustro@claustro.ca for details on how to make payment. We accept credit cards, cheques, or cash. You are welcome to mail a cheque to Claustro, 372 Midland Ave, Midland ON, L4R 3K8, or phone in your credit card information. Once we receive payment, we will send you a statement of your payment, and forward the final list of gift contributions to Liz and Mark.
